SAN PEDRO CHAPEL

Built in 1931 by members of the El Fuerte community, San Pedro Chapel stands on the site of an earlier chapel that was destroyed by a tornado. Constructed from handmade adobe and built through the collective efforts of local residents, the chapel served as the heart of the community for decades and remains one of Tucson's most treasured historic landmarks.
